You invested a lot in order to go live with your ERP solution – beyond just the software costs to get it up and running. You spent time on requirements gathering, interviews with consultants, demo’s, proposals, evaluations….and that was before you even purchased anything. After that you had resources devoted to project management, implementation, scheduling downtime, conversion of your old system, and training.
