While their primary business centers on their NASCAR and Indy race teams through Penske Performance and Penske Racing South, the Penske Corporation operates a wide range of divisions in the automotive and racing industries, from providing custom engine design to managing a high-quality wind tunnel facility in Mooresville, NC.

For an already burdened staff, the simplest day-to-day tasks were a constant struggle, forcing members to spend countless hours after end-of-day just to run reports and release batches.

The decision to upgrade to the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics SL was an easy one, but the Penske Racing team knew they would need to carefully select the right partner for the job. In addition to a smooth upgrade, Intellitec moved Penske Racing’s entire system to 2 new Microsoft SQL servers for a faster, more secure platform. In support of Penske Racing’s multi-company reporting environment, the Dynamics SL server utilizes Remote Desktop Services, so each employee can access the system from their own remote workstation; software installations for each workstation are not necessary.
